My Chamber.org T Business and Civic Leaders engage in Executive Leadership wo dozen individuals represent-ing a variety of organizations have enrolled in the 2017-2018 Exec-utive Leadership Roundtable (ELR). Designed for top management, leaders, business owners and the like, ELR is truly not a leadership training exercise. After a month of interviews with many more than accepted into the class, this group size is tied with last year’s class. Bringing a group of leaders from different walks of lives, educational background and leadership styles was accomplished on the first day, referred to as Orientation Day. That day featured a host of activities and guest speaker Corona Chief of Police, Mike Abel who provided a perspectives and tips on effective leadership styles that can be incor-porated into all rank and file em-ployees/companies. Each of the 10 full day sessions are typically themed, with specif-ic goals and intentional focus.
