The leadership at Peabody Engineering & Supply, Inc., have recently made an investment in two new state of the art rotational molding machines to accommodate the needs of their growing list of clientele. As the economy continues to grow, the team at Peabody is seeing an increased demand for their existing products and a need for larger capacity industrial process tanks. For this reason, the company has invested in two new large capacity rotational molding machines, which will not only allow them quicker turnaround on orders, but also the ability to mold larger tanks. These 2 new machines have been dubbed Alpha and Bravo. “We are expanding our product line to include larger Gemini® and ProChem® tanks, which will follow our strict quality assurance standards.“ said Peabody Engineering CEO, Mark Peabody. Peabody went on to say, “We really feel that it is time for us to take this important step and grow not only our product line, but our company, to keep up with the demands of our loyal and growing customer base and establish a stronger manufacturing base in our Corona, CA location.” The new larger machines will enable us to expand our existing tank product line as well as entertain new opportunities for larger and/or higher volume parts. Rotational molding is the process used to manufacture many common products like the residential trash cans everyone has these days, Yeti® Coolers, kayaks, sailboats and more. “This significant investment will allow Peabody Engineering to compete at a much higher level in the Rotational Molding Industry by bringing exciting new innovative products to the marketplace, increased production capabilities, shorter lead times, all the while maintaining and setting the highest quality standards in the industry” says David Rees, Operations Manager. The Peabody Molded Tank Division designs and manufactures tanks and accessories for process chemicals used in water treatment, food processing, pharmaceuticals, industrial chemical processes, waste water treatment, and agricultural chemicals. As an engineering firm and manufacturer, Peabody Engineering works as a partner with customers all over the globe, designing durable, flexible products that last. Kyle Peabody, Rotational Molding Department Manager said, “Peabody Engineering is taking strides in a positive direction to provide shorter lead times while continuing to provide the best top-quality products in the market.” With a variety of material products in their catalog and successful completed projects, the company backs every item that comes off the assembly line. Peabody Engineering Molded Tanks Division offers water tanks, Pro-Chem® Process Chemical Tanks, Gemini Dual Containment® Tanks, bulk storage tanks, and accessories, as well as fiberglass ladders, catwalks, platforms and grating products.
