Jobs are a large focus for the Cham-ber.... and good paying ones at that! Recently, the Chamber’s Chairman of the Board, Mark Peabody, addresses issues specific to the Arantine Hills by The New Home Company. Traveling on the 15 freeway in the Cajalco area can be a strug-gle. Adding additional impacts to the area, are approximately 10,000 homes that are sched-uled to be built by communi-ties south of Corona. Traffic is further exacerbated by all of the new high density housing off Temescal Canyon Road ad-jacent to Dos Lagos. One major improvement that is needed is a new, en-larged and improved Cajalco Bridge over the 91 freeway. The City estimates it will take up to 20 years to get State and Federal funding sufficient to complete the project, with an estimated cost of $90 mil-lion. The new bridge will be a “mega project” with substan-tial impacts for many who live and travel through this area. ...
