The start of the 2016 Major League Baseball season finds the welcome return of a popular tradition, Corona Night with the Angels. On Wednesday, April 27, the CORONA Chamber Foundation has secured tickets for local fans to see the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim play the 2015 World Series Champion Kansas City Royals. This will be the only home stand the Champs will play in Southern California this year. There are three ticket price ranges; Field $40, Lower View $30 and Upper View $12. Field and Lower View buyers receive an Angel’s cap with each ticket. Customers for the Upper View section or anyone else, can purchase a cap for the below market price of $6. In the past, thousands of Coronans supported CORONANight with the Angels, organizing their own groups of co-workers, friends and family. Fond memories remain of the past games when some businesses would charter transportation for their employees and enjoy a night of bonding and promoting “esprit de corps”. This year, Administrative Professional’s Day is also on April 27. This allows a splendidly timed opportunity to show appreciation to your dedicated administrators with tickets to see the Los Angeles Angels. The Chamber Foundation has arranged a special benefit for CORONA Night with the Angels, Metrolink is offering the discounted fare of Just $7 round-trip from the local stations. This eliminates the Anaheim excursion’s worries of traffic and parking often associated with the Big A. This fundraiser is offered through the generosity of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The Angels sell the tickets to the Foundation at a reduced fee enabling the charity to sell them at competitive box office rates while earning a profit. Purchasing tickets through the Chamber Foundation has an additional reward. The typical “service charge” of $4 per seat for all on-line transactions does not apply. Devotees of the national past time find it hard to understand why everyone is not interested in the game of baseball. Luckily, even those that are not fans can enjoy a night out with family, friends or co-workers at beautiful Anaheim Stadium. Some will find the hot dogs and game fare alone worth the experience. Those who purchase 10 or more tickets will receive an Angel’s backpack or other team souvenir. Businesses or individuals that buy 20 or more tickets will see their name scrolled across the Angels scoreboard Great ticket pricing, baseball caps, easy transportation, fun with friends and family while contributing to the Chamber Foundation charity makes this night the perfect combination of fun and giving. Buy your tickets today while supplies last either by stopping by or calling the Chamber office at 904 East Sixth Street, (951) 737-3350 or through the link on the Chamber website, CORONAchamber.org. See you at the game, CORONA Night with the Angels, April 27.
