The Riverside County Commission for Women, is pleased to announce their involvement with the 4th annual Women’s Leadership Conference which will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015, at the Riverside Convention Center at 3637 Fifth Street in Riverside. This premier event is for women of all demographics— business owners, management, employees and everyone! Throughout the day, attendees will be able to learn the latest information from professionals on best practices, empowerment, leadership skills and more. The conference will provide knowledge and skills through breakout sessions and keynote presentations. Emceeing this conference is award-winning Los Angeles area journalist and television host, Mary Parks. Joining Mary are inspiring speakers – Opening Session will feature author, speaker, technology consultant Beth Ziesenis of Nerdy Girl, President and CEO of the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce, Cindy Roth will open the Luncheon speaking portion, followed by Founder and Director of The Joyful Child Foundation Erin Runnion, and workplace e..pert, proli..c author, and popular speaker BJ Gallagher will close the all day conference. Attendees will have multiple opportunities to network and exchange ideas and information with 100’s of colleagues at the continental breakfast, the main sessions, breakout sessions and lunch. Cindy will lead off the luncheon portion of the conference. “Life after loss, and moving forward”. The luncheon session will be presented byErin Runnion, the Founder and Director of The Joyful Child Foundation - In Memory of Samantha Runnion. TJCF is a nonpro..t organization dedicated to preventing crimes against children through programs that educate, empower, and unite families and communities. Samantha was kidnapped and murdered in 2002. Erin is dedicated to ensuring Samantha’s tragic death continue to be a catalyst to engage adults in our collective responsibility in protecting our nation’s children. As Co-Founder of The Joyful Child Foundation as well as The Surviving Parents Coalition (SPC), and a member of the Board of Directors for the National Association to PROTECT Children, Erin has become a highly respected spokesperson, spreading her message in frequent media appearances, keynote addresses, and presentations for both government and private organizations.Erin delivers an inspiring message of hope and courage that motivates audiences to be a part of the solution to stop crimes against children. “The Yin and Yang of Leadership” The conference closing speaker will be BJ Gallagher, a workplace expert, proli..c author, and popular speaker.
